~Welcome~

Welcome to the official Issaquah Valley Rock Club website! We are a group comprised of all ages and backgrounds, who love looking for, learning about, and exploring everything to do with Rocks. We "Rockhounds" get together every month to have fun sharing interesting stories and facts about a hobby that we have all grown to love. Rockhounding is a hobby that the whole family can get involved in, regardless of age, gender, or experience. At our meetings, we also plan Rock Club day outings, multi-day camping trips, and workshop days. In addition, we also sponsor Rock Club displays at various school science fairs, farmers markets, and special events (Issaquah Salmon Days, for example).

MORE ABOUT US!!

Junior Group:
Our club meets at the Issaquah Senior Center (75 NE Creek Way, Issaquah, WA 98027), directly behind the Issaquah Police and Fire stations. Our Junior club meeting begins at 6:30pm, on the last Friday of every month. Children of all ages are welcome. Our juniors club is seperated into two groups, 0-9 year olds, and 9-18 year olds. Activities consist of arts and crafts, as well as geologic discussions and demonstrations.

Family Group:
Our Rock Club members meeting begins at approximately 7:15pm , and directly follows our juniors club program. The annual membership dues is $10 for an individual or $15.00 per family. For more information on becoming a member, please check out our membership page, which includes all that is included in the membership price. You are more than welcome to join at any time during the year.
